Geometric Tumblers

These tumblers were created as test pieces while developing the underglaze palette for the Insecticide vase. Chartreuse green and black geometric patterns explore surface contrast, carving depth and colour saturation before applying the palette to more complex imagery. The repeating triangular and interlocking forms allow the glazes to pool and break across the surface, revealing texture and variation. Though experimental, the tumblers stand as finished pieces in their own right.
